Willis Towers Watson(WTW)

At WTW my primary role was Mac device management via JAMF. My line of business had recently moved into JAMF from their prior solution and had a minimal setup. Over my first year I Improved the management of our Mac fleet by configuring automated device enrollment(ADE), application management through self service, and developed a process for handling OS updates both major and minor. In my second year we consolidated Mac management with another line of business and enhanced our processes to meet the needs of both lines while preparing for future anticipated integrations. My third year consisted of merging our mac management with the corporate management infrastructure in Microsoft Intune.

Larry H Miller Management Corporation(LHM)

My time at LHM began when leadership at Megaplex Theatres requested that the IT team at LHM bring me in to resume supporting them after the sell of the Jazz. During my time I assisted Megaplex with many major projects including a major Point of sale(POS) version upgrade, POS OS update, Pinpad hardware refresh, a major renovation of a theatre, consolidation of multiple badge access management systems and many more.

During the theatre renovation I was in charge of many technical aspects including verifying all POS, Digital signage, server, and other computer hardware had adequate network access, power, and were fully operational and up to date for the reopening. Coordinating with our network team to ensure that our wifi infrastructure was robust enough to support our new in seat delivery of concessions. And assisting with the deployment of a new security camera system.

Utah Jazz

While working for the Utah Jazz I had the opportunity to get into a variety of different industries that I might not have otherwise experienced. During my time I assisted many of the different entities under the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies and through the transition to Smith Entertainment Group. In particular I worked with the companies in the Sports and Entertainment division. This includes the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Stars(NBA G-League Affiliate), Jazz Gaming(NBA 2K League), the Salt Lake Bees(Minor League Baseball), 1280 The Zone Sports Network(Radio), Vivint Arena(now the Delta Center), Tour Of Utah(Remained with LHM Group of Companies), Megaplex Theaters(Remained with LHM Group of Companies), Fanzz Sports Stores(No Longer Supported), and All Star Catering(No Longer Supported).

Over the years my role has evolved and changed. I started as an intern before being moved to a full time Tier 1 tech. After some time in the Tier 1 roll I was Promoted to Tier 2. After the promotion my primary roll was as the Megaplex Business Coordinator. In this roll I was the face of IT for the Megaplex business entity. As such it was my job to ensure that we were meeting their IT needs at a high level. During this time I helped facilitate a major version upgrade of their Point of Sale(POS)software. In my roll I was responsible for coordinating with the necessary IT and Megaplex Business resources to ensure the software was updated in a timely manner. This included getting the lab environment operational, working with the Megaplex Technical Project Manager to ensure that the POS was configured correctly and to set the timeline for deployment, and to schedule server, database, on site, and remote support to preform the update. After the sell of the Utah Jazz to Smith Entertainment Group I become the expert for our Apple environment. In this roll I expanded my MDM skillset while managing our fleet of Apple devices using JAMF.
